Hey Everyone! My name is Lauren. I’m a new contributor over here at East Austinite. Very excited to be a part of the team!
Last year, I made the same trek as Pee-Wee Herman from L.A. to central Texas. However, I wasn’t looking for a bike. I was searching for my soul after losing it in the film business. I landed in Austin and couldn’t be happier! 
I’m a three quarters East Austin gal, for I work about 10-12 hours a day over here on the east side. It’s my favorite part of town fo’sho. You can usually find me gawking at all the beautiful hipsters at Shangri-la or loitering around Mr. Natural. Looking forward to meeting you all at some point.
