If you have been following our humble blog from the beginning, you may have noticed that we are very bike friendly, and have been known to rock the clips from time to time. So it brings us great pleasure to bring you Limit Sixty Six, who produces amazing screen printed shirts (with BIKES one them!) and will be showing off his work at this years E.A.S.T. See an excerpt from Limit Sixty Six’s blog below where he talks about last weekend and posts more info on his plans for this weekend.
The East Austin Studio Tour is this weekend (and next weekend) on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00am-5:00pm. This really snuck up on me! I kept saying “I need to get started on this, I need to get started on that for E.A.S.T.” for a couple of months and now it is here and I am scrambling to jam out some ‘fine’ art, organize my inventory (aka shirts) and put tags on them, set up some sort of display for them, and get the studio space cleaned up, organized, and presentable to a bunch of strangers. I may buy a case of beer… or some ‘liberated’ cookies or something. If you’re in the ‘hood this weekend around that time come by and have a beer (or a cookie). My lovely space-mate, Krista aka Railroad Studios, was on the ball enough to actually register in time and get our location in the book and on the map. We are number 38 in your guide (but #1 in your hearts, right?).
